9. Install the diaphragm clamp (18).
A. Thread the diaphragm clamp (18) CW, by hand
as far as you can.
B. Engage the TL118 pin spanner and tighten it
down until it stops.
10. Install adjustment screw (19) over the main
spring (17).
A.Using a 6 mm hex key, engage the adjustment
screw (19) 3 full revolutions. This is just a
preliminary setting.
11. Build the turret bolt (28) assembly.
A. Insert a new o-ring (24) into the turret bolt. Use
the TL136 multi-tool to seat it evenly.
NOTE: This is a dynamic o-ring (24). The stem
of the HP seat moves through the center of it with
each breath. Therefore, lubricate it generously
making certain to get lubricant on the inner wall of
the o-ring.
B. Install o-rings (25 & 28) on to the turret bolt.
C. Install spring (23) and HP seat (22).
12. Install turret (21) and turret bolt (28) assembly.
A. Turn the regulator over in the vise.
B. Install a lubricated o-ring (20) on to the main body.
C. Press fit the turret (21) over the o-ring. Exercise
caution not to pinch or extrude the o-ring (20).
Confirm that the turret (21) rotates smoothly.
