Push-to-start

CANMAX400DEI-LINCOLN1

First, you have to dock the
CANMAX400DEI into the
module. Connect USB cable to
the XKLoader2 and plug USB to
any available USB port on your
PC. Then connect the XKD2D65
wire into the module in which you
docked the CANMAX400DEI,
and connect the XKD2D65 to
XKLoader2.

Connect the 7 pin from the harness into
connector of the CANMAX400DEI.

Connection to XKLoader2

Connect USB cable to the XKLoader2 and plug USB to any available USB port on
your PC. Next connect the wire adaptor cable into the XKLoader2, connect the 7 pin
connector under the CANMAX400DEI and finally connect Red wire to a 12v power
source and Black wire to a ground source.

Remove cover from the

Caution!

The 20 pin connector can be easily plugged in backwards.

Connect the 20 pin harness to the CANMAX400DEI.

Connect 20 pin to module

Remove cover from the module and cut the lip to allow docking
of the CANMAX400DEI.

Cut the lip

Dock the CANMAX400DEI into the module.

Dock it

Make all connections as per wiring schematics.

Failure to proceed in the following order could result in possible vehicle damage.

Make the necessary connections in the vehicle, as
instructed in the module guide.

Connect the remote
starter to the vehicle

If your module has D2D Jumpers, make sure both Jumpers are in the
