17. Troubleshooting

Leakage:

if water leakage occurs, please power down the device

immediately and check if all ports are firmly connected. See if you can

slightly tighten the ports to ensure that pipes are sealed. However,

do

NOT overtighten

the screw connectors on the front of the main unit. If

leakage occurs despite reasonably tight fittings, please contact support.

Unable to connect in Control Center:

Check if XMG OASIS is connected to external power.

Check if XMG OASIS is powered on (LED on).

Check if the laptop’s Bluetooth function is on.

Restart the laptop and XMG OASIS so it can pair again.

Click “Reset” button in the XMG OASIS module of Control Center.

Consider to reinstall Control Center, or upgrade to a new version.

High amount of operational noise:

this could be the result of air

bubbles still trapped inside the tubes or around the pump. With the

tubes connected to your laptop, enter “Liquid Input Mode” a few times.

This might help to disperse air bubbles inside the system.

Alternatively, follow the instructions on page 11 on how to disconnect

the cooling loop from your laptop; then remove the laptop. Then, hold

the quick release connector over your capture container (at least

230

ml) and insert the drainage adapter into the quick release

connector. Let liquid flow out for 2 seconds, then pinch the water tubes

and lean XMG OASIS left and backwards to allow bubbles to move out

of their positions inside the unit. Hold the device in these slanted

orientations for 3 seconds each. Make sure you do not cause leaking

from the refill port during this operation.

Pump malfunction:

when the water pump of XMG OASIS is mal-

functioning, the power LED indicator blinks in orange light and the

device shuts down automatically after 10 seconds. Double-check if

XMG OASIS is filled with coolant liquid. Otherwise, contact support.
