What is xiX-XL
xiX-XL is the high-resolution camera family with PCI express Interface and detachable sensor heads:
•
xiX-XL is the high-resolution camera family with PCI express Interface
•
BSI sensors: Sony CMOS sensors: 61 Mpx, 101 Mpx, and 151 Mpx
•
Full frame 35 mm and Medium format sensor sizes
•
Backside illumination technology for high quantum efficiency of up to 90 %
•
Impressive speed - 61 Mpx at 17 fps, 101 Mpx at 8 fps, 151 Mpx at 6 fps, and more with binning
The new xiX-XL cameras as part of the xiX-camera series are based on sensors with backside-illuminated technology from Sony and deliver
resolutions starting from 61 Mpx and going up to 151 Mpx. With a very high quantum efficiency, reaching 90 % sensitivity, each sensor
offers a high dynamic range of 80 dB, resulting in high-quality 16-bit RGB or black-and-white images. Even though these sensors have a
small pixel size of 3.76 nm, the saturation capacity is well above 40 000 e
-
.
The small pixel size also allows the individual cameras (with a resolution of over 150 Mpx) to be condensed in space-restricted applications.
The separation of the sensor head from the camera body can further assist with building various multicamera systems. All this is combined
with the PCI-Express interface allowing data throughputs up to 32 Gbit
