Anti-lock braking system is equivalent to a high
frequency of braking, in an emergency to step
on the brake pedal, the driver will feel the brake
pedal in the vibration, and accompanied by the
operation of the brake pump issued by the “rattle”
sound, at this time the anti-lock braking system is
in the normal working state.
As the brake main pump is constantly adjusting
the brake pressure, there is a continuous feedback
force to the brake pedal. Therefore, in this case, be
sure to step on the brake pedal in the end, do not
step on the brake pedal repeatedly.
Anti-lock braking system is only an auxiliary
braking system, whose role is very limited. For
example, when braking on gravel road or newly
snowed road, the braking distance may be longer
than that on cement road or dry road.
It should not be considered that the braking
performance of anti-lock braking system can
reach the ideal state under any circumstances.
Therefore, do not rely too much on anti-lock
braking system, only safe driving is the most
important.
Do not rely too much on ABS and brake assist
device, should control the speed, to ensure the
effective distance, to ensure safe driving.
ABS cannot play a role in the case of
exceeding the tire lock threshold or water
film effect.
Water film effect: when driving at high
speed in rainy days, the water film is
formed between the tire and the road
surface and the grip is lost.
When the starting switch is in the state of
“ON”, the yellow anti-lock braking system
fault warning light ABS is lit for about 2s.
If the warning light does not go off after it
is on or if it is on during driving, it indicates
that the anti-lock braking system is faulty.
