Polish with wax
To protect the paint, wax the outside surface
of the vehicle. Before waxing, wash and dry
the vehicle. If the paint surface is hot, place
the vehicle in a cool place before waxing to
cool the paint surface. Polishing is required
only if the paint tarnishes or if it adheres to
fixed deposits.
Polishing with silicone creates a protective
film and does not require waxing. Plastic
body parts should not be waxed and
polished.
