Under File Format, select one of the following:
Multi-page TIFF
Single-page TIFF
JPEG
BMP
GIF

Under Sides to Scan, select one of the following:
1 Sided
2 Sided
2 Sided, Rotate Side 2

Click the
Preview image in Xerox
®
Scan Utility
option. This option sends the scanned image to the
folder you specify, and the image appears on the Scan to Email and Copy to Folder tabs.

Under Saved Template Settings, click the
< New Saved Template Name >
field, then type a name
for the new template.
Note:
Spaces are not permitted in template names.
5.
Specify a folder destination.
6.
Click
Save
.
The template appears in the list on the touch screen.
Note:
To edit an existing template with the settings you selected, select a template from the Saved
Template Settings drop-down list.
Creating a Template to Scan Images to a Folder
To create a template that places scanned images in a specific folder on your computer:
1.
Access the Xerox

Scan Utility on your computer using one of the following methods:
Windows
: Right-click the

icon in the taskbar, then select
Open

. If the icon does not appear in the taskbar, click

Scan Settings
tab, then select the desired settings for the template:

Under Output Color, select one of the following:
Auto
Black and White
Color
Grayscale
