NTP
The Network Time Protocol (NTP) synchronizes the internal clocks of computers over a network
connection at system startup and every subsequent 24-hour period thereafter. If your printer uses DHCP
and an NTP server, or if a DHCP server provides Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) offset, these settings are
ignored.
1.
In CentreWare Internet Services, click
Properties
>
Connectivity
>
Protocols
.
2.
Click
NTP
.
3.
Under Network Time Protocol, select
Enabled
to enable the protocol.
4.
Select the address type. Options are
IPv4 Address
or
Host Name
.
5.
Type the appropriately formatted address and port numbers for IP Address: Port and Alternate IP
Address: Port. The default port number is 123.
6.
Click
Apply
to save the new settings or
Undo
to retain the previous settings.
Note:
Restart your printer for the new settings to take effect.
