Print-Quality Troubleshooting
Repeating Defects on Print
The distance between each artifact of a repeating image defect reveals which
imaging component is causing the defect. Transfix Roller defects show up as
light spots in solid fill areas.
Initial Actions

Check the media used is supported by this printer.
■ Check that the paper path is clean and clear of debris.
4 Test the Preheater temperature.
Does the Preheater operate within the
normal operating range? Replace the
Preheater if necessary.
