Make sure that the machine is not operating, and pull up the upper unit release lever to open the
upper unit.

Open the front cover.

Pull out the waste ink cartridge carefully.

Notes

–

Always store the used waste ink cartridge in a horizontal place to prevent ink from being
dropped. Be careful to handle ink of the waste ink cartridge.

–

Dispose of waste ink cartridge in accordance with local regulations.
