Preparing the
Printer for
Transport
When transporting the printer more than a short distance, use the
original shipping box and packaging materials. If the original shipping
box or materials are not available, use a sturdy packing box and a
generous amount of cushioning or packing materials.
To prepare your printer for transportation, follow the instructions below.
If you need to return the printer for service, follow the instructions of
your service provider for packing and shipping.

Power OFF the printer and disconnect the power cord and all
interface cables.

Remove any paper handing options and repack each in its original
packaging.

Remove the Photoconductor / Drum and pack it in its original
packaging.

Remove the Toner Cartridge and pack it in its original packaging.
5
Pack the printer with the sealed Photoconductor / Drum, Toner
Cartridge and power cord in the original printer box.
