Consumable supplies
It doesn’t get any easier than Solid Ink. Like
loading a stapler, simply open the device and
drop the ink into its corresponding slot. The
inks are keyed to avoid loading into the wrong
slot, and the cartridge-free design allows ink to
be topped off before the printer runs empty,
without any workfl ow interruption. Solid Ink
sticks are spill-free and safe to handle, with
nothing to smudge your clothes.
Job Tracker
• Sends an automatic alert to your computer when
attention is needed to complete a print job.
• Includes graphic instructions on how to
resolve the issue, helping you get back up and
running as quickly as possible.
Intelligent Ready
Intelligent Ready is a feature that learns your
unique usage patterns so that the ColorQube 8900
will be ready when you need it to be. This can result
in pages being generated in about 8.5 seconds.
Walk-up convenience
Scan to and print from a standard USB memory
device for faster document delivery.
Embedded help videos
Embedded help videos offer quick
troubleshooting assistance right at the front
panel, enabling users to proactively resolve

provide an easy, intuitive method of submitting
jobs and receiving bidirectional information like
system status, job status, currently loaded paper

software that eases the chore of installing,
confi guration, managing, monitoring and
pulling reports from the networked printers and
multifunction printers throughout your enterprise

Remote access
The ColorQube 8900 also includes CentreWare

Internet Services (CWIS), an embedded web
server that allows employees and IT personnel
to perform detailed status checks on the system
and consumables, administer system settings,
and manage access and accounting controls via
any standard web browser.
Each Solid Ink color is uniquely shaped for easy
drop-in loading — even while the device is in use.
