Stitcher wire
The Wire Percentage indicator is located on the printer console
of systems configured with a stitcher/stacker. The indicator
displays an approximate percentage of stitcher wire remaining
on the spool. Your service representative can set the display to
flash at a predetermined percentage as a warning that you are
running low on stitcher wire.

NOTE: The percentage that displays on the wire percentage
indicator is a close approximation.
When the stitcher spool empties, the printer stops, and you see
the following displays on the printer console:

The status display shows the fault code L152.
•
The message window displays the following sequence of
messages, with the next message appearing each time you
press i:
•
STITCHER IS OUT OF WIRE OR
SPOOL NOT ROTATING PRESS i
•
TRAINED OPERATOR CHECK WIRE
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. PRESS i
