The maximum cable length for CAT5 connections to a single keypad is 500 feet (see 

Figure 11-A

).  For two 

keypads in a zone, the distance to the last keypad is cut in half to 250 feet (see 

Figure 11-B

). This same 

relationship applies to systems with 4 Keypads in the zone (Max distance to last keypad is 125ft.).
