ONFIGURING THE
XANTECH XLIP
The XLIP units come out of the box with a DHCP network configuration. We recommend setting these to
use a static IP address.
If you have multiple XLIPs in an installation, power them up one at a time and change the IP address as
follows. Each XLIP must be on a different IP and listening on a different UDP port.
The default configuration web page for the Xantech devices is:
http://xlip232r-[last 6 digits of MAC address for the device]
1. Click on the Configuration Link. The device’s default credentials are UserID: admin, Password:
Xantech
2. In Configuration, set the following options:
a. Function of the module should be set to “This module is stand alone”
b. Use DHCP for IP address should be deselected, and network information should be
entered.
c. If using multiple XLIP devices, the UDP port used for IR must be unique for each device.
In the Computer Address Section, set the Computer IP to the IP Address of your HC/SC
