Locate the auger opening in the bottom right corner of the
OPC belt cartridge area (fig. 9.5); Then, plug the .5" x .5" (13
mm x 13 mm) cube of packing foam into this opening to
prevent waste toner spillage.

Hold the OPC cartridge over the printer, aligning the
cartridge’s side tabs with the printer’s OPC guides (fig. 9.6).
6.
Lower the cartridge gently into the printer until you feel a
slight resistance as the cartridge’s gear engages with the gear
in the printer (fig 9.6).
7.
Close the OPC guides by pushing them toward the back of the
printer and down (fig. 9.6).
Prepare the Toner Auger Area
1.
Remove the gray plastic drum cleaner cover just in front of the
fuser unit by lifting up on the arrow tabs (fig. 9.7).
