*If the Motor is good and the Batteries are charged the wheel will spin at full power in
which case the Controller may need to be replaced.
*If the Motor did Not run then the Batteries will need to be checked to confirm they are
holding a charge.
*If Batteries are holding a charge then the Motor will need to be checked or replaced.
How To Replace A Controller
1) Find the Derailer plug on the controller, it is the only one with 3wires in the connection.
This is the throttle. Plug it in to the male 3 wire connection coming down from the handle
bars.
2) Plug the motor plug into the wires coming from the motor usually has blue and white
wires that are larger in size than the other wires.
3) Find the battery connection coming off the controller, this has the same sized wires as
the motor connection. Plug this connection into the wires coming off of the batteries.
4) Locate the wires coming off the charger socket, usually red and black and plug into the
connection on the controller marked charger.
5) Locate the wires coming from the on and off switch it has 3 wires usually red black and
green the red and green goes to the connection marked locl and that usually has red and
blue wires the black wire that you have left over goes to the connection that is marked
output power supply that has a red and black wires plug these into each other.
6) You now have a plug marked brake with yellow and black wires this is where your last
plug goes. The last plug is for a brake signal which is not an option on the X-250.
How To Replace Brake Cable
1) Loosen the Pinch Nut on your brake hub to slide the Brake Cable out.
2) Remove the Axle Nuts and Chain Tensioners and Axle from the complete rear wheel.
3) Slide the Belt off of the Hub.
4) Remove the complete Rear Wheel.
5) Remove the Footplate from the frame in order to access the Brake Cable.
6) Cut the Black Casing off that hides all of your wires going Up the Handlebar Post.
7) Locate the Brake Cable and pull out; replacing it with the new Brake Cable.
8) You can replace the black casing with cable ties to keep the wires together along side
the handlebar post.
9) Put the complete rear wheel back onto the frame and slide the Belt back onto the hub.
Verify that the Brake is fitting correctly as well.
10) Put the Axle back through the wheel hub and put adjust the tensioners so that the
wheel is centered. Tighten the Axle Nut.
11) Put the Brake Cable back through the pinch nut: adjust and tighten the nut.
