LIMITED EQUIPMENT WARRANTY 

Seller warrants its equipment against defects in material and workmanship (parts and labor) for a period of 12 months from date of 

shipment from the factory under normal use and service and otherwise when such equipment is used in accordance with 

instructions furnished by Seller and for purposes disclosed in writing at the time of purchase if any. This service will be provided on 

customers' premises for nonportable models. Portable models (a device with a cord and plug and weighing under 100 pounds) must 

be taken or shipped to the closest authorized service agency; 

transportation charges are to be prepaid by the customer. Seller's liability under this warranty shall be limited to the replacement or 

repair, F.O.B. point of manufacture or depot designated as an American Wyott factory, of any defective equipment or part which 

(having been returned, transportation prepaid) has been inspected and determined by Seller to be defective under the afore written 

terms and conditions. Seller's obligation under this warranty is limited to repair of defects by the Seller's authorized service agency 

or one of its authorized service subagencies. 
On all shipments outside the continental United States, our labor warranty is effective where the Seller has an authorized distributor, 
assigned manufacturing licensee, or official service agency; our parts warranty is effective worldwide. 

This warranty is not effective if damage occures from improper installation, from wrong voltage, wrong gas type, or operated 
contrary to the installation or operating instructions. 

PARTS WARRANTY

 

Parts that are sold for out-of-warranty repairs are under warranty for 12 months. All parts are replaced under Seller's warranty for 
unexpired portions of original product warranty. Labor to replace is chargeable to the customer should replacement be necessary 
within the 12-month part warranty. 

SERVICES NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY

 

A) Installation of equipment. B) Damages due to improper installation. C) Damages from abuse or misuse of equipment. E) 
Cleaning of equipment. F) Seasoning of griddle plates. G) Voltage conversions. H) Gas conversions or pilot light adjustments. I) 
Miscellaneous adjustments. J) Thermostat calibration—either refrigeration or heating. K) Resetting of circuit breakers or safety 
controls. L) Replacement of bulbs, lights and/or fuses. M) Mileage and travel time on portable equipment. N) Labor to replace such 
items that can be replaced easily during a daily cleaning routine 

(i.e.,

 elements on bun warmers, removable kettles and control 

heads on fryers, knobs, grease drawers on griddles, etc.). P) Labor to remove and reinstall a normally considered nonbuilt-in unit. 
Q) Damage created by acts of God or War or Civil unrest. 

PORTABLE EQUIPMENT

 

Seller will not honor service bills that include travel time and mileage charges for servicing any products considered "portable" (see 
above). These products should be taken to the service agency or returned to the factory for repair; 
transportation charges are to be prepaid. 

THIS WARRANT IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AS TO DESCRIPTION, 
QUALITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR USE, OR ANY OTHER MATTER.

 

Under no circumstances shall Seller be liable to Buyer or any third party for any loss of profits or other direct or indirect costs, 
expenses, losses or consequential damages arising out of or as a result of any defects in or failure of its products or any part or 
parts thereof or arising out of or as a result of parts or components incorporated in Seller's equipment but not supplied by the Seller. 

EXCEPTIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

 

This warranty becomes void if, after examination, proof of abuse, misuse or tampering with can be established. This warranty 

applies to original purchaser and is not assignable. 

No other warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, as to description, quality, merchantability, fitness for any particular 
purpose or use or as to any other matter is made in connection with the sale of any American Wyott Corporation products.
