In the middle section of the AVRISP window marked ‘Flash’ click on the “ .. “ button to
browse to the .hex file previously downloaded from
www.wybron.com
.
Browse to the file and click ‘Open’. The path in the ‘Flash’ section of the AVRISP
window now points to the .hex file to be programmed into Nexera.
In the AVRISP window ‘Flash’ section click on the ‘Program’ button. Do not use the
‘Program’ button in the ‘EEPROM’ section.
A status bar in the lower left-hand corner of AVR Studio will indicate progress as
Nexera’s flash memory is programmed and verified. Messages in the lower section
of the AVRISP window describe what action is being taken, and if the action was
successful as shown in the figure above.
At the end of the programming cycle, Nexera will automatically restart. The new
software version number will be shown for two seconds on Nexera’s display.
To avoid damaging the ISP programmer, disconnect power from Nexera’s color
module before unplugging the ISP port.
