Dust/Chip Extraction
❏
Before any work on the machine itself, remove
the battery.
Sawdust Ejection
Clean the sawdust ejector
8
regularly. Use a suitable
tool (e. g. piece of wood, compressed air, etc.) to
clean clogged chip ejector.
☞
Keep fingers out of sawdust ejector 8.
External Dust Extraction
The dust that is produced while working can be det-
rimental to health, inflammable or explosive. Suita-
ble safety measures are required.
Examples: Some dusts are regarded as carcinogen-
ic. Use suitable dust/chip extraction and wear a dust
respirator.
The sawdust ejector
8
fits to the connector with the
Art. No. 0702 400 042. For other diameters, an ex-
traction adapter must be used.
Initial Operation
Inserting the Battery
Slide the charged battery
7
in into the handle until it
can be felt to latch.
Switching On/Off
Switching on:
Push the lock-off button
4
down-
ward and hold.
Afterwards, press the On/Off
switch
5
.
Switching off:
Release the On/Off switch

.
☞
Do not switch the machine on or off while the
saw blade is in contact with the workpiece or
other materials.
Operating Instructions
Guide the machine with one hand on the handle
6
and the other hand on the auxiliary handle
3
.
The mark
20
makes sawing along a line drawn on
the workpiece easier. For 45° bevel cuts, follow
along the line with mark
21
.
Excessive feed reduces the performance capability
of the battery.
Sawing performance and cut quality depend essen-
tially on the condition and tooth form of the saw
blade. Therefore, use only sharp saw blades that are
suitable for the material to be worked.
