Refuelling
MakesuretheOn/Offignitionswitchisat
”OFF“positionbeforefilling.
Torefill,holdrefillcanvertically(fueltransferis
dependent on gravity).
Stopfillingwhengasescapes.

Ignition Sequence
SettheOn/Offignitionswitchtothe”ON“
position to release gas.
Push the switch in the
direction of the tip to the
uppermost point to ignite,
then release the switch
back to the ”ON“ posi-
tion.
Do not touch the tip, tip
housing or knurled nut
while igniting.
Do not ignite the device if
”Tip Assembly“ is not
screwed on.
Toturnoff,slidetheOn/Offignitionswitch
downward to the ”OFF“ position.

Use of Soldering Tip/Heat Blower Tip
and Hot Knife Tip
Make sure the hot air exhaust hole is positioned
upwardly as pictured.
Set gas control lever to mid position.
Tip temperature can be changed by adjusting
the gas control lever.

Use without Tip (Blow Torch)
Remove tip and tip housing by loosening
knurled nut.
Mount tip housing in place without tip.
Adjusttheflamelength.Donotadjustto
maximumlengthasgasmayflare-upandcut
out.

CleanorReplaceOrificeAssembly
Remove tip and tip housing by loosening
knurled nut.
While holding the device in a vertical position,
unscrew assembly nozzle (A). You may have to
use pliers or other tool to start unscrewing.
Do not grasp and turn the ceramic head (D).
Carefullyremovetheorificeassembly(B)by
liftingitoutofthedevice(C).
3. Handling
Notethattheshortersideoftheorificeassem-
blyfitsintothedevice.
SoaktheorificeassemblyinNaphthaorother
similar solvent for 5 minutes.
Replacetheclean(ornew)orificeassembly
(shorter side into the device).
Replace the assembly nozzle (hand tighten)
with pliers, grasping the shank of the assembly
nozzle.
Use mild soap and a damp cloth to clean the
housings of the tool. Do not use household cleaners,
gasoline, turpentine or paint thinner. Never allow
any liquid to get inside of the device. Never immerse
any part of the device in liquid.
