Self and personnel protection
■
Persons less than 18 years old must not use the
device. Excepted from this are young persons
of 16 and over who are working under
supervision within the scope of their vocational
training.
■
Always remain alert and take the utmost care
when working.
■
Always wear suitable personal protective
equipment (suitable safety glasses and gloves).
■
Wear a special respiratory filter/mask.
■
Wear special clothing to protect you body
from contact with toxic vapours, solvents or the
products being processed.

Poisoning can occur with some paints contain-
ing organic solvents due to the toxic vapours
which they give off.

Always read the technical data sheets for the
products to be used
before using them.
¾
Wearing personal protective equipment
reduces the risk of injury.

Never point the device towards any part of
your body, towards yourself or towards other
persons.
Safety in the workplace
■
When selecting and using the product to be
used, check by consulting the appropriate
safety data sheet, that it is compatible with
the area of work and the individual protective
equipment items.
■
Always earth paint spraying systems correctly.
■
Keep the device out of the reach of children
and never leave it unattended.
■
Disconnect the compressed air supply before
carrying out any work on the device, during
work breaks and when the device is not in use.
Fire or explosion hazard
■
Do not use solvents and/or halogenated hy
-
drocarbon-based detergents (ethyl trichloride,
methyl chloride, etc.).

Such products could cause corrosion to
galvanised parts that may result in explosive
chemical reactions.

Do not use inflammable liquids.
■
Avoid naked flames and sparks.
■
Never exceed the maximum working pressure
of 8 bar!
■
Use the device only in well-ventilated rooms.
Special safety instructions
■
Before starting work, check for trouble-free
operation, completeness and the serviceability
of the device.
■
Do not use a faulty device.
■
Do not use the device if its integrity may have
been impaired as a result of a collision or
fall. This applies in particular to parts subject
to continuous loads, to adjustable parts or to
pressurised parts.

possible that defects such as frac

tures, cracks or similar phenomena may not be
directly recognisable.

In this case do not use the device and inspect
and test it before using again. If in doubt,
contact your local dealer before using the
device again.
