4.3.1 AutoCal TEC
Use any two or three of the WTW technical buffer solutions
for this procedure in increasing or decreasing order (pH
2.00, 4.01, 7.00, or 10.01).
Note
The calibration for pH 10.01 is optimized for the WTW tech-
nical buffer solution TEP 10 Trace or TPL 10 Trace. Other
buffer solutions can lead to an erroneous calibration. The
correct buffer solutions are given in the WTW catalog or in
the Internet.
Note
Steps 2, 6 and 13 are not required if you use a temperature
probe.
1 Press the
c
key repeatedly until the AutoCal TEC
function display appears.
2 If necessary, set the temperature of the buffer solu-
tion by pressing
28
.
3 Submerse the pH electrode in the first buffer solution.
4 Press the
g
key.
AR flashes on the display.
The electrode voltage (mV) appears on the display.
As soon as a stable value is recognized, Ct2 ap-
pears.
