Mounting a Camera
A camera is not included with the microscope, but WPI carries a variety of cameras if
one is necessary. In the example shown below the COLCAM closed circuit television
(CCTV) camera is used. This camera can be connected to a television. Digital cameras
are available that will connect with a computer or laptop.
When mounting a camera, the WPI camera adapter package (#
503097
) may be
purchased for added flexibility. This package includes an eyepiece lens, a 30mm
adapter and a female C-mount. With this kit, a camera can be mounted to the
microscope in one of a variety of ways, as shown on the next few pages. Choose the
option that best meets your needs.
