10. ADMINISTRATOR MODE
10.5 Alarm Settings
In this part, you can set how the system will produce alarm for each ROI. You can select maximum Temperature
limit, Pixel limit, Time limit and see Pixels over limit.
You can also set, if the pixel limit applies for clusters of pixels or for individual pixels.
Figure 10.11: Preview of alarm settings.
10.5.1 Pixel limit
Each ROI consists of certain amount of pixels. Pixel limit states, how many of these pixels must suffice certain
conditions for Alarm to be activated for this ROI. It is the minimal number of triggered pixels needed for Alarm
activation.
10.5.2 Temperature limit
This is the minimal temperature needed for a pixel in the ROI to be counted as triggered. Pixels in the ROI with
this or higher temperature will be highlighted with a preselected ROI color and counted in the pixel limit. Pixels
with lower temperature will not be counted.
10.5.3 Time limit
The Time limit states, what is the minimal duration for which the Pixel Limit has to be fulfilled for the Alarm
activation. The alarm will not activate unless the pixels in the ROI maintain temperature over Temperature limit
for this selected Time limit.
10.5.4 Pixels over limit
This is just an informative window, showing the count of pixels with temperature over the preselected limit.
10.5.5 Clustered pixels over limit
The setting determines whether the Pixel Limit applies for individual triggered pixels anywhere in the ROI (off),
or if they have to form one continuous cluster which needs to surpass the limit on its own (on).
