GPS and MAVLink
There are three different ways to provide GPS coordinates to the Workswell GIS 320:
1. GPS NMEA protocol
2. MAVLink protocol
3. DJI CAN
In this chapter, the GPS and MAVLink interfaces are explained. They share the same physical interface, but they
differ in communication protocol.

Warning
: The +5V wire on the GPS input is intended for powering otherwise unpowered GPS modules
from GIS 320. If your GPS source is powered otherwise, do
NOT
connect the +5V wires and leave them
unconnected instead, only connecting the GND, TXD and RXD pins. If the +5V wires are connected,
damage of either device might occur.
