ATTENTION! The power tool must be completely still. Only then can you use the
selection switch!
• If the selection switch is on the position for percussion drilling (
), then you can
use the power tool, for example, for percussion drilling in a light concrete wall.
• If the selection switch is on the position for drilling (
), then you can use the power
tool as a normal drill.
Rotation speed regulation (image 1, no. 7)
• You can set the maximum rotational speed with the handwheel (image 1, no. 7). The
rotational speed goes up in the “+” direction. The rotational speed goes down in the
“–“ direction.
• The stronger you press the on / off switch (image 1, no. 6), the higher the rotational
speed of the power tool. If you reduce the pressure on the switch, then the rotational
speed will be reduced.
Locking knob (image 1, no. 8)
Set the desired rotational speed by turning the handwheel (image 1, no. 7). Press the on/
off switch (figure 1, no. 6) as well as the locking knob (figure 1, no. 8). First let go of the on/
off switch (figure 1, no. 6) and then the locking knob (figure 1, no. 8). This will maintain a
constant rotational speed during operation. To release the position lock, press the on/off
switch (figure 1, no. 6) and then let go of it.
Selection switch right / left rotation (image 1, no. 5)
You can set the rotational direction to right or left rotation using the selection switch
(image 1, no. 5).
ATTENTION! The power tool must be completely still. Only then can you select the
rotational direction; otherwise damage could occur.
Malfunctions
In case your machine doesn’t work properly, here are some possible causes and
solutions:
1. Extreme sparks
This usually indicates that the motor is dirty or the carbon brushes are worn.
• Bring your machine to a specialist for repair.
2. Overheating of the machine
The ventilation slots are clogged
• Clean the ventilation slots with a cloth.
