- Hold the power tool only by the insulated gripping surfaces, as the cutting or drilling attachment may come
into contact with a hidden wire or its own cord during operation.
3) PERSONAL SAFETY:
- When using a power tool, be careful and vigilant, paying maximum attention to the activity you are
performing. Focus on work. Do not operate a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs,
alcohol or medication. Even momentary inattention while using a power tool can result in serious personal
injury. Do not eat, drink or smoke when working with power tools.
- Wear protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Use protective equipment appropriate to the type
of work you are performing. Protective equipment such as a respirator, non-slip safety shoes, headgear or
hearing protection, used in accordance with working conditions, reduces the risk of personal injury.
- Avoid turning on the power tool unintentionally. Do not carry a power tool that is plugged in with your
finger on the switch or trigger. Before connecting to the power supply, make sure that the switch or trigger
is in the "off" position. Carrying a power tool with your finger on the switch or plugging in power tools with
the switch on can cause serious injuries.
- Remove all wrenches and tools before turning on the power tool. An adjusting wrench or tool that remains
attached to the rotating part of the power tool can cause personal injury.
- Always maintain a stable posture and balance. Only work where you can reach it safely. Never overestimate
your own strength. Do not use a power tool while you are tired.
- Dress appropriately. Wear work clothes. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing,
gloves or other part of your body away from rotating or hot parts of the power tool.
- Connect the dust extraction power tool. If the power tool has the ability to connect a dust collection or
extraction system, ensure that it is properly connected and used. The use of such devices can reduce the
dangers posed by dust.
- Secure the workpiece. Use a carpenter's clamp or vice to secure the workpiece to be machined.
- Do not use any tools if you are under the influence of alcohol, drugs, medication or other narcotic or
addictive substances.
- The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children must be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
4) POWER TOOL USE AND MAINTENANCE:
- Always disconnect the power tool from the mains in case of any work problems, before any cleaning or
maintenance, during each transfer and at the end of the operation! Never work with power tools if they are
damaged in any way.
- If the tool starts to make an abnormal sound or smell, stop work immediately.
- Do not overload power tools. The power tool will work better and safer if you work it at the speed for which
it was designed. Use the correct tool for the job. A suitable tool will perform the work for which it was
manufactured well and safely.
- Do not use a power tool that cannot be safely switched on and off with the control switch. The use of such
tools is dangerous. A damaged circuit breaker must be repaired by a certified service center.
- Disconnect the tool from the mains before carrying out any adjustment, replacement or maintenance. This
measure will reduce the risk of accidental starting.
- Keep unused power tools out of the reach of children and unauthorized persons. Power tools used by
inexperienced users can be dangerous. Store power tools in a dry and safe place.
- Carefully keep the power tool in good condition. Regularly check the setting of moving parts and their
mobility. Inspect the protective covers or other parts for damage to the safe operation of the power tool. If
the tool is damaged, have it repaired before using it again. Many injuries are caused by improper
maintenance of the power tool.
- Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained and sharpened tools make work easier, reduce the
risk of injury and work with them is better controlled. Use of accessories other than those specified in the
