10. WORKING ADVICE
Use as a hedge trimmer:
Before cutting check the hedge for foreign objects e. g. wire fences.
Cut stems up to 6 mm in thickness. When cutting, move steadily along the line of cut, so that
stems are fed directly into the cutter blades. The double edge of the cutting blade enables
cutting to either direction, or with a side to side motion.
After use replace the blade transport guard.
Recommended cutting/trimming times:
Cut hedges with deciduous leaves in June and October.
Cut evergreen hedges in April and August.
Cut conifer and other fast growing shrubs approx. every six weeks from May onwards.
Use as a shear:
Guide the machine along the edge of the lawn. Do not allow the blade to contact paved
surfaces, stones or garden walls, since this will wear the blade rapidly.
11. CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Disconnect the unit from the power supply (by unplugging or removing the fuse)
before handling cleaning or maintenance.
- The unit should be thoroughly cleaned before and after use, do not put it under water,
and especially not under water at high pressure. Remember to remove the dirt trapped
between the blade from the top and bottom blade.
- The blades should be kept well sharpened. The notches (caused by contact with
stones, for example), must immediately be polished. Regular lubrication of the blades
to optimize their operation.
- The appliance should be stored in a dry place, protected from frost and out of reach
of children.
- Examine the equipment regularly and make the manipulations necessary
maintenance. Only a certified specialist may repair the unit

12. REPAIRS
Only use accessories and spare parts recommended by the manufacturer. If, in spite
of maintenance and technical controls carried out, the device is dropped down, the
repairs should be performed by a qualified electrician.
14. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
The electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Bring
them to a recycling center.
