remove the sprocket cover like action 1.
2. Mount the chain bar and saw chain onto the machine head,
referring the action 2. Please make sure the slot on the chain
bar align with the blade guide (21) and guide rail (23).
3. Pull the chain bar to the right to tension the saw chain
manually. Then put the sprocket cover back to the machine
head, please make sure the bolt inside the sprocket cover align
with the screw hole (22).
4. Fasten the sprocket fastern knob (19a) like action 3. If needed,
turn the chain tension screw knob (19) clockwise or anti-
clockwise to tension or loosen the saw chain. Please make
sure there is a little clearance around 2-3mm between the saw
chain and chain bar if pull the saw chain upward. Then
retighten the sprocket fasten knob (19a).
Filling the chain lubrication oil (Fig. 4)
When working, there is big friction between saw chain and chain
bar. So, a bottle of lubricating oil comes with the machine. It can
provide the lubrication and cooling down the saw chain and bar.
Failure to do so, the life of saw chain and chain bar will be much
shorter.
1. Loosen the oil filler cap (20) and remove it.
2. Filling the oil into the oil tank till the leverl reach the MAX line
on the view window (14). If the oil level lower than the MIN line
please refilling the oil agin. See fig. 4.
3. Tighten the oil filler cap again.
Mount the shoulder strap (Fig.5)
Hook up the shoulder strap onto the hook on the carrying lug, see
fig 5.
Adjusting the telescopic pole (Fig. 6)
The telescopic handle
(
1
)
can be adjusted continuously by
means of the quick release
(
2
)
.
1. Activate the quick release and adjust the length by pushing or
pulling as required.
2. Close the quick release again, thereby fixing the desired
working length of the telescopic handle.
Mounting the battery pack (Fig.7)
The machine does not come with the battery pack, you need to buy
the WORCRAFT battery pack seperatly in the market.
To mounting the battery pack, just align the slots between battery
pack and machine end, and push it till heard click. It means securily
locked.
Switching on and off (Fig.8)
Switching on:
♦ Press the safety lock-out (5) and keep it pressed and then press
the on/off switch (6).
♦ After the starting process, the safety lock-out (5) can be released.
Switching off:
♦ Release the ON/OFF switch (6).
Sawing techniques
Sawing off small branches
♦ Saw small branches (Ø 0–8 cm) from the top down (see figure).
Sawing off larger branches
♦ When sawing larger branches (Ø 8–20 cm), first make
a relief cut
(see figure).
■
A relief cut also prevents peeling of the bark on
the main trunk.
♦ Saw from the top
to the bottom
.
Saw in sections
Long or thick branches should be shortened before
making the final cut (see figure).
Working safely
■
Keep the appliance, the cutting mechanism and the
blade guard in good condition to prevent injury.
■
If the appliance has been dropped, check for
significant damage or defects.
■
Maintain the specified angle 60
°±
10
°
to ensure
safe working (see figure).
■
Do not use the appliance while standing on a ladder
or with unsteady footing.
■
Do not be tempted into making a poorly considered
cut. You could endanger yourself and others.
■
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
■
Change your working position regularly. Using the
appliance for a long time can lead to vibration-related
circulation disorders of the hands.
You can extend the usage duration by means of
appropriate gloves or by taking regular breaks.
Note that any personal predisposition to poor blood
circulation, low external temperatures or large
prehensile forces can reduce the usage period.
