IMPORTANT:
AFTER REPLACEMENT OF ANY COMPONENTS ALWAYS
CHECK FOR GAS SOUNDNESS WHERE RELEVANT AND CARRY OUT
FUNCTIONAL CHECKS AS DESCRIBED IN COMMISSIONING.

REPLACED.
REPLACEMENT OF PARTS
1. Removing outer case
1.1
Undo 4 screws (A) securing boiler casing.
1.2
Pull case forward and remove.
If it is necessary to remove bottom tray, this
is retained by two screws (B) at the front
and hooks over the bottom frame work of
the boiler.
2. Primary sensor
Remove electrical connection (C) by pulling
upwards. Squeeze retaining clip on plastic
moulding (D) and pull sensor (E) upwards
until clear of pocket in heat exchanger.
Coat new sensor with heat conductive
paste and replace.
3. Overheat thermostat
Remove two electrical connectors from
thermostat.
Slacken and remove fixing screw and
thermostat.
When replacing ensure thermostat sits
correctly on surface of the casing with the
left hand side of thermostat siting up
against the shoulder (F).
Note:
It is essential that the mating surface
of the thermostat is coated with heat
conductive paste.
4. Flue limit thermostat
4.1 Type B (with grommet)
Remove electrical connections.
Undo the flue connection from the sump
and push the flue tube up.
Push the flue limit thermostat outwards
from the sump.
The following components can be
replaced with the outer case
removed:
Primary sensor
Overheat thermostat
Flue limit thermostat
