not to touch the blade (use a small screwdriver to push the guide). Then tighten both
screws (C, Fig. 15).
Note: Upper blade guard (B, Fig. 15) is shown removed for clarity.
3. Loosen the screw (E, Fig. 15) and move the guide bracket (F, Fig. 15) inwards or outwards
until the front edge of the guide (D, Fig. 15) is just behind the ”gullet” of the blade teeth.
Then tighten screw (E, Fig. 15).
4. Loosen the screw (H, Fig. 15) and slide the support bearing (G, Fig. 15) inwards or out-
wards until it is approximately 0,8 mm behind the rear edge of the saw blade. Then tight-
en screw (H, Fig. 15).
Note: The back-up bearing is to support the back edge of the blade while saw-
ing. The blade must not contact the bearing when you stop sawing.
Warning! The upper blade guard (B, Fig. 15) must always be fixed in position
before use.
Adjusting the lower guide and the back-up bearing (Fig. 15-17)
1. Loosen both screws (A, Fig. 16) with a hex wrench.
2. Loosen two screws (C, Fig. 17) and tilt the complete blade guide bracket (D, Fig. 17) for-
ward as shown until the blade support bearing (F, Fig. 17) is approximately 0,8 mm be-
hind the rear edge of the saw blade (G, Fig. 17). Then tighten both screws (C, Fig. 17).
3. Adjust the blade guide (B, Fig. 17) as shown as close as possible to the side of the saw
blade being careful not to touch the blade (use a small screwdriver to push the guide).
Then tighten both screws (A, Fig. 16).
Warning! The lower blade guard must always be fixed in position before use.
Adjusting the table (Fig. 18)
To tilt the table for angle sawing, loosen the table locking knob (A) and tilt the table until the
pointer (B) indicates the desired angle on the scale (C). Then tighten the locking knob (A).
Replacing the saw blade (Fig. 19)
1. Open the blade casing cover according to instructions above.
2. Loosen both screws (A) of the upper guard and remove the upper guard (B).
3. Loosen both screws (C) of the lower guard and remove the lower guard (D).
4. Release blade tension and the table alignment bolt, washer and wing nut (E).
5. Remove the saw blade being careful not to cut yourself. Wear gloves if necessary.
6. Fit the new blade. Make sure that the blade teeth point downwards and towards you.
7. Adjust the blade and guides according to instructions above.
Switch (Fig. 20)
The machine is started and stopped with push buttons which are situated in the side of the
machine.
1. Depress button ”I” to start the machine.
2. Depress button ”O” to stop the machine.
Miter gage (Fig. 21)
A miter gage (A) is supplied with the machine. The miter gage body (B) can be adjusted up to
a 45° angle both right and left by loosening the lock knob (C) and rotating the miter gage
body to the desired angle. Finally tighten the lock knob (C).
