PENDULUM 

You  can  use  the  2  pivot  screws 
to get the pendulum plumb, this 

will  be  the  case  if  your  wall 
is  not  totally  perpendicular. 

If  your  pendulum  leans  towards 

the  wall  just  screw  out  the 
rear screw (as in the picture), 

and of course vice versa. 

To  help  the  brass  rods  stick, 
file  a flat on  the  end of both 

brass rods. Before you put glue 
in  the  pockets,  try  a  dry  run 

to  make  sure  the  rods  fit.  Put 

some  epoxy  resin  in  both  pock-
ets. 

Clamp  the  dial  on  a  plane  sur-
face,  use  2  scraps  from  one  of 

the 4mm cog sheets placed under 
the brass rods to get the whole 

straight.
