6.9 Up/Down System

WARNING! 

Turn the key switch to the OFF (0) position and remove 

the key before performing service near moving parts such as blades, 

pulleys, motors, belts, and chains. If the key is turned on and moving 

parts activated, serious injury or death may result.

ADJUST THE UP/DOWN CHAIN AS NEEDED.

The up/down chain is adjusted to level the sawhead.

1.

Locate the chain adjusting bolt at the bottom of the mast. 

2.

Loosen the adjustment nut provided on the bottom of the sprocket assembly and move

 

the sprocket up/down until the sawhead is level.

3.

Repeat on the other side as necessary.
