1.
Move the saw head so the blade is positioned directly above one of the bed rails. Measure from the
bottom edge on a down-set tooth of the blade to the top of the bed rail.
2.
Loosen the scale bracket mounting bolt and adjust the bracket until the indicator is aligned with the
correct mark on the scale. Retighten the nut on the bracket mounting bolt.
Quarter Inch Scale (Option)
1.
The maximum distance between the scale and the scale indicator should be 5 mm. If it is different,
loosen the indicator bracket mounting bolts and move the bracket in the horizontal plane until the
correct distance is obtained. Retighten the bracket mounting bolts.
