Swing a side support up so that it is vertical.

Pull back at the top of the support to eliminate slack as if a log were being clamped against it.

Check the angle of each support with a square on the board.

The side support should be 90° to the bed rails. Turn the adjustment bolt counterclockwise to tilt the
top of the side support forward.
6.
Repeat for the remaining side supports.
6.12 Blade Height Scale Adjustment
Standard Scale
After the entire sawmill has been aligned and all adjustments made, check that the blade height
scale indicates the true distance from the blade to the bed rails.
