6.10 Horizontal Tilt Adjustment
1.
Move the blade guide arm half way in.
See Figure 6-15.
2.
Place Blade Guide Alignment Tool against the face of the outer blade guide roller, as shown above.
3.
Measure between the back edge of the blade and the tool at the end closest to the inner blade guide
("B").
4.
Measure between the back edge of the blade and the other end of the tool ("A").
5.
The roller should be parallel to the blade (A=B) or tilted slightly to the left (A=B-1/4" [6 mm]). Use the
side set screws to adjust the horizontal tilt of the roller.
6.
Repeat Steps 3 - 7 for the inner blade guide roller.
NOTE:
Once the blade guides have been adjusted, any cutting variances are most likely caused by
the blade.

6.11 Side Supports
Logs and boards are clamped against the side supports when sawing. The side supports must be
square to the bed to ensure square lumber.

Place a flat board across the bed rails.
