SECTION 5 ALIGNMENT
5.1
Alignment Procedures
The Wood-Mizer resaw is factory aligned. This section includes instructions on how to
realign the resaw completely. Be scrupulous when performing all alignment steps as
resaw alignment determines the accuracy of your cuts. The alignment procedure should
be performed approximately every 1500 hours of operation.
Routine Alignment Procedure:
1.
Install and track the blade (

Check and adjust the vertical alignment of the blade guide arm (

Check and adjust the hoizontal alignment of the blade guide arm (

Check and adjust the vertical angle of the blade guides (

Check and adjust the horizontal angle of the blade guides (

Check and adjust the spacing between the blade guide flanges and the back of the blade

Check that the blade height scale accurately displays the actual distance from the bottom
of the blade to the feed track and adjust if necessary (

).
