Use a C-clamp to secure the string to the rear frame cross tube, maintaining the string
alignment to the front fence.

Measure the distance between the face of the blade and the string at each end of the
blade. The measurements should be the same as the front fence setting (5 inches) at
both ends.
See Figure 3-6.

If necessary, loosen the blade shaft bearing mount bolts and adjust the position of the
blade. Retighten the bearing mount bolts. After adjusting the blade, loosen the blade filler
plate thumb screws and adjust the plate close to, but not touching the blade. Retighten
the thumb screws.
