The unit is not plugged in
The magnetic cord is not

Plug the unit into a 120 volt AC outlet.
See figure 1 on page 10 for proper
installation of the breakaway cord.

Do not fill basket more than 2/3rds full.
Remove excess ice crystals from food.
Increase temperature according to the
Frying Guide on page 13.
