4. After cutting:
•
Maintenance and cleaning work on the device may only be executed when the motor is not running.
•
Clean and lubricate the blades (with Vaseline) after each cutting.
•
Repairs to the device may only be carried out by WOLF service centers and authorized repair centers.
•
Chargers that have become wet may not be plugged into an electrical outlet until they are dry. Otherwise the shears should
be charged after each trimming (only in a dry room. The charging time for a completely discharged battery is between 24
and 30 hours.
•
Always store the shears in a dry room out of the reach of children in such a way that the cutting head is protected.
5. Dispose of batteries in an environmentally responsible manner:
•
Wolf battery packs are nickel cadmium rechargeable batteries. They are the most suitable for supplying energy to
mains independent electric devices according to the current state of the art. Nickel cadmium cells are harmful to the
environment if they are incinerated with other household garbage.
•
WOLF Garten would like to encourage environmentally friendly consumer attitudes. Working together with you and WOLF
dealers we guarantee the acceptance and recycling of used batteries.
6. Charger
•
The charger may only be used in dry rooms.
•
Unplug cable connections only by pulling on the plug. Pulling on the cable could damage cable as well as plug and
electrical safety could not be guaranteed.
•
Never use the charger if cable, plug, or the device itself have been damaged through external influence. Bring the charger
to the nearest repair shop.
•
Under no circumstances should you open the charger. In case of a malfunction take the device to a repair shop.

Operation
Charging (figure B1)
The shears must have been charged for ca. 30 hours before their first use.
For charging - plug the charger in a 230-volt AC outlet and plug the charger plug into the charge
socket of the rechargeable shears.
Attention!
Only use the charger in dry rooms!
Please note:
•
In the interest of long battery service life, the device should not be connected to the charger
longer than is necessary.
•
The battery only reaches its full performance after multiple charge and discharge cycles.
•
The rechargeable shears should not be charged prior to long periods when it will not be used, and
it should not be charged intermittently in winter.
Powering the shears on / off (figure B2)
The black push button should be pushed forward over the red button before commencing work.
When the black push button is released the motor stops and the red button prevents accidental
restarting.
