During the assembly and the exchange of the motor, use the following procedure with the
GFM-F and GFM-G and GFZ-B until GFZ-D and GEZ-B and GEZ-C pumps:
1. Plug the coupling element 1 onto the shaft of the gear pump.
2. Plug the drive plate onto the coupling element 1.
3. Find out the distance between the drive plate and the fixing points of the motor
(measurement a).
4. Adjust the coupling element 2 which is mounted on the shaft of the motor to a
measurement of b = a-0,5 mm and fix it.
5. Screw the motor to the flange. Pay attention that the studs of the coupling element 2
interdigitate with the drive plate.
6. Connect the motor to the power supply.
Models GFZ-N, GFZ-L, GFZ-L01, GFM-N, GFM-L, GFM-L01; PFZ-N, PFZ-L, PFZ-L01
PFM-N, PFM-L and PFM-L01
The gear pumps PFZ-N, PFZ-L, PFZ-L01, PFM-N, PFM-L and PFM-L01 are supplied without
motor with connection flange. For the connection of a motor, an elastic coupling is needed
(see data sheet P0396).
Warning!
The individual components of the elastic coupling (hubs
and sleeves) must have the same size!
All servicing and repair work on the electric facilities may only be done by
skilled electricians in accordance with DIN VDE 1000-10.
