Root cause
Remedy
No build of
pressure.
Air in the delivery pipe.
Deaerate the pipe lines.
Pipe line is leaking.
Remove the leakage.
Pressure relief valve does
not close.
Check the pressure relief valve for
correct opening pressure.
Check the pressure relief valve for
dirt. Clean it, if necessary.
Check the pressure relief valve for
damages. Exchange it, if necessary.
Lubricant is not appropiate
for use.
Change the lubricant of the complete
lubrication system.
Reservoir is empty, pump
unit absorbs air.
Re-fill lubricant.
If the following work is done, disconnect the pump unit from the
supply voltage
Pump unit is defective.
Send the pump unit back to Woerner for
testing.
Should the above mentioned troubleshooring and the corresponding remedies not lead to a
flawless operation of the pump unit, turn to WOERNER, please.
7.2 Refilling the reservoir
Only fill clean lubricant into the reservoir. During refilling pay attention that no dirt gets into
the reservoir.
7.3 Switch-off
The unit is switched off by disconnecting it from the power supply.
