8.3 Inspection schedule

8.4 Repair
Changing the pump element:
Note!
Prior to pump element removal, the reservoir must be emptied
since otherwise lubricant may spill.
For GMG-LEZ:
Loosen the pump element cautiously. Prior to removal, tilt
t
he pump body slightly such that the delivery piston‘s head
is moved out of the groove of the pressure ring.
Insert the new pump element diagonally into the location
hole in the casing with the delivery piston being pulled out
up to its half approximately. Installation and commissioning
will be facilitated if the hole that serves to accommodate
the delivery piston is filled with grease. Do not put the
pump element into horizontal position and screw it down
unless the delivery piston’s head is resting at the pressure
ring and engaging its groove.
