Descale the hot water valve

If necessary, the valve on the hot water spout

should
be unscrewed and descaled with the aid of WMF
descaler when the machine is switched off an cold.
Place the hot water valve in a beaker of hot water for
ten minutes with a teaspoonful of WMF descaler. The
valve must then be rinsed thoroughly.

Storage urn
In addition to the daily program, the viewglass on the
level indicator

must be cleaned once per week to
remove any coffee residues:

Check that the storage urn is empty and that the ON
/ OFF switch

has been switched off.

Remove the plug

and move the brush up and
down several times (see Fig. 23).

Unscrew the screw plug

and push the damp
brush in as far as possible several times (see Fig.
24).

Replace the plug
