Descaling
Limescale deposits lead to energy loss and adversely affect the lifespan of the appliance as
well as the cooking results. The appliance switches off prematurely if the layer of limescale
is too thick. The limescale is then very difficult to remove.
Therefore descale the appliance regularly.
▪ Prior to descaling, unplug the appliance from the mains and allow it to cool down.
▪ Pour descaling agent into the heating bowl (3) and leave the appliance to stand until
the limescale has detached from the base.
▪ Then pour out the water and rinse thoroughly with cold tap water.
Do not heat the solution during descaling.
Caution: the warranty does not cover damage caused by failure to observe the descaling
instructions.
