Body inspection procedure:
1.
Check the hopper door for proper latching (see Figure 4-1).

OTE
:
When the hopper door is open, the hydraulic pump is disabled. This door MUST be closed for
the hydraulic pump to function.

Go back in the truck and open the top door completely.

Press the green push-button on the in-cab packer control station (see Figure 3-26) to activate the
packer for a full cycle.
4.
Use the joystick on the in-cab console (see Figure 3-28) to check for proper operation of the
arms and forks.
Danger!
Never attempt to reach inside the hopper area while the packer is in motion. Severe injury or
death may occur.
