7 Service
7.1 Clean lamella heat exchanger
Warning

When handling chemicals, observe the safety notes on the safe-
ty data sheet and the hazard warnings on the packaging.

Wear protective clothing, protective gloves and protective gog-
gles when handling chemicals.

Do not use high-pressure cleaners.
Clean the lamella heat exchanger regularly depending on how dirty it is, but
every six months at the minimum.
Required material

1 detergent F 720 BLUe 1L container (Material No. 20000280)

1 sprayer (Material No. 30001998)

Connected water hose
Procedure

Remove the cover of the lamella heat exchanger.

Access actuator programme 1 and move air vent forwards (activate O14
actuator; for details see PT Series service instructions).
IMPORTANT Do not fold forward by hand, as otherwise the air vent
motor could be misaligned.

Isolate the machine from the mains electrical supply within a minute and
check that there is no voltage.

Isolate
the machine from the mains electrical supply. Check that
there is no voltage.

Rinse the lamella heat exchanger and the dirty areas with warm water to
preheat the material.
IMPORTANT Water or moisture must not reach the air vent motor
and the cable harness installed to the right of the la-
mella heat exchanger. Take protective measures if
need be.

Spray detergent on evenly and let it take effect for 20 minutes.

After this has taken effect, rinse off the detergent and loosened dirt with lots
of warm water.
IMPORTANT See that water flows slowly over the lamellae so that
these do not become bent. Do not use a high-pressure
cleaner.

Re-straighten bent lamellae with the lamellae comb.

Dry/clean all other water residue, chemical residues and dirt with a cloth.

Refit covers.
