4. Connection

First check whether the dishwasher to which the RoMatik 150 is to be connected has a

pressurised boiler

(subject to water-pipe pressure) or a

non-pressurised boiler

 (pump installed downstream of boiler).

Refer to

connection diagram 890053104

for machines with

pressurised boilers

 and connection diagram

890052364

for other machines.

For further information, contact your local Winterhalter service centre.

Removing the shipping seals:

The

feed water (cold water), reject water and purified water

connections are located at the rear of the

appliance, and are sealed with

plugs

Do not use pliers to remove the plug from the purified water outlet!

The plug can be easily removed by pushing the grey retaining ring towards the rear of the appliance and
then pulling it out (see also the instructions at the bottom of this page).
Remove the other seals.
The seal for the cold water connection will be needed again.

Cold water connection:

Connect

 the

on-site shut-off valve (cold water) to the RoMatik 150

with the supplied parts according to

the connection diagram. For this purpose, choose a water valve which can never be shut off inadvertently.
The

dirt trap

 of the dishwasher

must

 be used.

If connecting to a new drinking water pipe, or to one which has not been used for some time, allow the water
to run for a while before connecting the hose. This serves to prevent sand or rust from collecting in the intake
filter of the appliance.

Note

: Once the appliance is fully assembled, both the

on-site shut-off valve

and the

water dial

must be

easily accessible

for maintenance work.

Check the hose connections for leaks. Make sure the mains plug is removed before doing so, as oth-
erwise a flushing cycle will be instantly activated.

Purified water connection:

Now

connect

 the

RoMatik 150

 to the

dishwasher

with the supplied parts according to the connection dia-

gram.

The supplied service tap must not be mounted until the appliance is put into operation by your
authorised Winterhalter service technician.
The hose between the RoMatik 150 and dishwasher / expansion tank must not be shortened.

Information on plastic hose and quick connectors:

Connecting the hose:

Insert the hose approx. 20mm into the quick
connectors at the rear of the appliance or  ser-
vice tap.

Disconnecting the hose:

The hose can be disconnected from the quick
connectors by pulling back the grey ring.
