SECTION 4 –
APPLIANCES AND SYSTEMS
NOTE: The black and gray water tanks are
measured in 1/3 increments while the
fresh water tank is measured in 1/4
increments.
Tank Capacities
See “Tank Capacities” in Introduction
Section.
Propane Gas Level
Touch the LP Gas Level touch cell to show
approximate propane tank level.
The propane level is registered by a sending
unit on the tank. The gauge mounted on the side
of the tank will give a more accurate indication of
actual tank level if needed.
Battery Voltage Meter
Touch the House Batt. Volt touch cell to check
the level of charge (voltage) in the 12-volt house
battery.
To get an accurate reading:
1. Both the chassis engine and the generator
engine must be shut off.
2. An interior light should be turned on to
provide a small load, which draws off the
battery surface charge.
The LCD display will show the current battery
voltage to the nearest tenth of a volt.
•
A 12-volt battery typically registers anywhere
from 12.5V to 13V when adequately charged.
•
Voltage below 12V indicates a moderately
discharged condition; 11.5V or less is
extremely discharged.
•
Voltage above 13V typically indicates that the
battery is being charged by the inverter
charger system.
Water Pump
When use of the self-contained water system
is desired, touch the Water Pump On/Off touch
cell to turn on. The “Pump On” light will
illuminate when the pump switch is on and the
system is operable. Water will be available as
soon as a faucet is opened. Refer to “Water
Pump” in the Plumbing Section of this manual
for additional information on the water pump and
initial start-up.
NOTE: Some models may be equipped with a
Water Pump switch in the water service
center on the outside of the coach or
within the bathroom area for your
convenience.
Further Information
Refer to the monitor panel manufacturer’s
information in your InfoCase for complete
operating instructions.
WATER HEATER - GAS/
ELECTRIC
The gas/electric water heater has a dual power
feature. It can operate from propane gas or 110-
volt house current; or it can use both at the same
time for quicker recovery at times when you are
using a lot of hot water.
NOTE: Read the Water Heater Operating Guide
in your InfoCase for complete safety
warnings, operating instructions, and
maintenance information before
operating the water heater.
Be sure the water heater is filled with water
before starting either electric or propane gas
operation.
To fill the water heater, turn the
Water Pump touch cell on and open a hot water
